Paul Plummer holds multiple coaching certifications, including USA Triathlon Level II Long Course and Short Course Coach, Ironman Certified Coach, and B3 BFR Certified Coach. Additionally, he has been a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer since 1989. Throughout his career in college academics, athletics, and private fitness organizations, Paul has excelled in various roles and earned top distinctions. Notably, he is a Hall of Fame inductee of the Indiana Athletic Trainers’ Association and a Golden Pinnacle Award recipient from the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Paul’s foundation as an Athletic Trainer was built through his work with collegiate athletes, serving as both Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Athletic Training Services. He worked extensively with NCAA Division I athletes to prevent, treat, and rehabilitate injuries, ensuring they returned to play in the safest and most efficient way possible. His nearly 20 years in college athletics provided him with the expertise to work with young and competitive athletes at the highest levels.

Following his collegiate career, Paul spent nearly a decade as an athletic trainer at one of the nation’s top sports performance clinics. His diverse range of patients included high school athletes, weekend warriors, future Olympians, and professional athletes. This experience allowed him to refine his ability to train and rehabilitate individuals across all generations and ability levels.

Driven by a desire to provide the same high level of care with a more personalized approach, Paul founded PXP Endurance in 2015. Becoming an entrepreneur has given him the opportunity to work more closely with athletes of all abilities, offering customized coaching and training to help them achieve their unique goals.

As a passionate endurance athlete, Paul has completed numerous half and full marathons and triathlons, including 70.3-mile (22) and 140.6-mile (10) distances, as well as various shorter running and triathlon events. His deep knowledge, energy, and motivational coaching style inspire athletes to push their limits and achieve their personal best. With extensive experience in program development, college-level teaching, injury rehabilitation, and elite athletic performance, Paul provides a unique perspective that empowers athletes to redefine their capabilities.

Paul firmly believes that anything is possible. He not only develops comprehensive training plans but also instills the motivation and confidence needed to overcome fears, doubts, and anxieties. His mission is to guide athletes toward realizing their potential and achieving what may have once seemed out of reach.

“When you come to a class, I will meet you where you are and walk with you toward achieving your fitness goals. You don’t have to get ‘in shape’ before joining—these classes will help you get there. We will improve your performance while reducing your risk of injury.”
